3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday (weekend shifts also available)

Pay:

15 per hour

About the Role

Are you looking for an evening care role where you can truly make a difference?



As an Evening Care Assistant, you'll be providing one-to-one support to a client with complex physical and communication needs in their own home.

This role is perfect for someone who's calm, patient, and dedicated to giving care that's not just clinical -- but deeply personal and human. You'll be helping your client feel safe, comfortable, and understood during the evening hours, ensuring every shift makes a real difference.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting communication:

Help your client express themselves through a Communication Aid, facial expressions, vocalisations, and eye pointing.

Monitoring PEG site:

Observe and report any changes -- no medication administration required.

Seizure awareness:

Stay alert and respond with confidence in line with care plans.

Mobility & comfort:

Assist with gentle repositioning, ensuring comfort and dignity.

Health support:

Provide calm, consistent care for conditions such as a movement disorder, left leg amputation, and neuromuscular scoliosis.

Adapting communication:

Use clear, supportive communication techniques to accommodate hearing loss.
You'll be working in a structured and supportive environment where your professionalism and empathy are valued every single day.

About You:

You have experience in complex care (particularly PEG feeding or epilepsy). You're confident working independently in a homecare setting. You bring warmth, patience, and professionalism to every interaction. You're eager to keep learning through ongoing training and development.
