Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene in the kitchen.
Duties
? Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
? Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
? Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment.
? Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
? Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
? Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Requirements
? Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment.
? Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety practices.
? Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
? Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
? A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences.
? Flexibility to work various shifts.
