Being a Support Worker for Majestic Care North West Ltd means you are a member of Burnley's largest leading care provider who is appointed by the NHS.

Responsibilities for care assistant

You will meet and support some very interesting people from a very varied walk of life and more often than not become a good friend of the service user and their family, someone they can rely on for both moral support as well as being there to maybe assist with personal care, medication and normal household tasks such as helping to prepare a meal, mobility and shopping etc.

Requirements for carer

You will require a clear Enhanced DBS of which the company pay for.

Reliability is essential. You will be responsible for providing support to people in need therefore being reliable is imperative. Communication skills, basic maths and literacy skills are essential, as you will need to assess a service user's progress and report back to your manager. You will also be working together as a team with other support workers.

You don't need previous experience to become a care assistant, as we provide full training.
