Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to work 2 hours per evening after 6.30pm or early mornings before 6am. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately while adhering to health and safety regulations. Follow specific cleaning schedules and protocols as directed by management. Assist with special cleaning projects as required, including deep cleans or post-event clean-ups.

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot areas requiring extra care. Good organisational skills to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and management. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
