Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff member to join us in Launceston Fryers as a part-time evening waitingperson.

In the evenings, shifts are 5pm-9pm. Monday and Saturday availablity is a must due to certain senior staff requiring additional days off.

Ideally, one would have availability on Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to increase customer satisfaction and revenue Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, menus, and service stations

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Experience in serving, food preparation, or culinary roles is advantageous Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Ability to provide exceptional guest services with a friendly and professional attitude Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not essential. Kitchen Porter skills may be required, but not essential due to the nature of it Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
