We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our hotel housekeeping team as a Evening Laundry Assistant. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have an eye for detail we want to hear from you.
The Role:
Ensure the washing and drying of all items processed by the laundry e.g. hotel towels, spa towels, restaurant napkins, tablecloths and uniforms
To iron laundry as required on a daily basis
To fold all stock processed through the laundry & store for resting
To deliver & collect laundry from different departments around the site (using golf buggy)
To ensure the laundry is kept in continual operation to meet the demands of the business
Any extra daily duties that are required
To ensure that all equipment and stocks are maintained, checked and kept in good working order in accordance with correct procedures and report all relevant faults
Ensure that the Laundry is kept clean and tidy at all times
To be fully aware of the Hotel's Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations
Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role - desirable
