Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaner to carry out the daily cleaning of a medical centre in Bangor, Gwynedd. All assigned areas must be maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in creating a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and patients.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used correctly and stored safely. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve cleanliness goals. Follow colour-coding procedures.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement. Good time management skills, capable of prioritising tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is advantageous. Reliability and dependable to lock-up the building securely each evening.
Hours: 3 hours per evening, from 5.30pm. Monday to Friday. (15 hours per week)
