We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support our operations by preparing company vans, managing waste, and ensuring all vehicles are fully stocked and job-ready for the following day.
This is a hands-on role that involves loading vans, handling office furniture, and taking responsibility for vehicle and stock preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Empty company vans of waste and materials at the end of each shift
Sort and dispose of waste correctly (general waste, recycling, timber, packaging)
Load and reload vans with furniture, stock, and materials in a safe and organised manner
Ensure vans are clean, organised, and fully job-ready
Drive and park company vans in designated areas once loading is complete
Carry out basic vehicle checks including:
Oil levels
Coolant / water
AdBlue
Check all tools are present and in good working order
Report missing, damaged, or faulty tools and equipment
Assist with Saturday van preparation to ensure vans are ready for the following week
Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised warehouse environment
Skills & Experience Required
Experience loading vans and handling furniture - essential
Confident driving and parking company vans
Forklift experience
preferred but not essential
(training can be provided)
Previous warehouse, yard, or logistics experience preferred
Good awareness of manual handling and health & safety
