We are currently seeking a talented, driven, and experienced

Chef de Partie

to join our dynamic Events Kitchen Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-pressure environments and has a passion for delivering exceptional food at high-profile events.

Hours/pay

-40 pw. Mon - Fri working one Saturday out of 3.

-Some evenings 35K pa. During busy periods extra hours are paid as overtime.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and serve high-quality dishes in line with event menus and presentation standards. Take ownership of a designated section within the kitchen, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety throughout preparation and service. Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the planning and execution of event services. Adapt to different kitchen setups and venues while maintaining consistency in food quality. Collaborate with other chefs and event staff to ensure seamless service and timely execution. Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety protocols.

Requirements:



Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef in a fast-paced, event, or high-end catering environment. A flexible and adaptable approach to different menus, locations, and client expectations. Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen best practices. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Culinary qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3) or relevant certifications are highly desirable. A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering consistently excellent food.

Desirable Traits:



Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn. Comfortable working long shifts, evenings, and weekends as required by events.
