Compact Security Services

are looking for confident & experienced Event Control Staff, with previous experience of working within control room environment to join our Events team working a variety of festivals across the UK this summer.


In this role you'll be working in our control room, monitoring activities, coordinating responses, and liaising closely with both security teams and event management.


Duties will include:

Use of radios within the control room Working with control team, logging all incidents and information via microsoft excel to ensure accurate event records are maintained Ensure all security protocols are observed and information tracked in real time Working to deploy resources as necessary, responding to all emergency situations calmly providing clear and accurate instructions Support seamless communication between security teams and event organisers to address any issues as they arise Liase professionally with event management teams to provide regular accurate updates on crowd flow, incidents and overall safety

Please note these roles are for festivals so not for Manchester based events, flexibility to travel and stay away from home for event duration will be required.

Requirements

To be considered for employment with Compact Security in this role you must be able to meet the following minimum requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Confident to work as a team and communicate clearly and accurately at all levels Confident in the use of microsoft in particular excel Previous control room cctv/security/crowd management experience Confident and experienced in use radios on busy events Provide documentation at interview which demonstrates your eligibility to work within the UK and unrestricted right to work in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months SIA CCTV license desirable 5-year checkable work history (including school, further education and unemployment) - please note all offers are conditional on passing screening so if you are unable to provide this we will be unable to progress your application
