Position Title

: Event Hospitality Staff

Duration

: Fixed term contract from mid June to mid September. Opportunity to extend contract or switch to permanent contract after September.

Start date

: Mid June (starting date negotiable)

Hours

: Part time (15-20hrs / week) and Full-time (32hrs - 36hrs / week over 4 or 5 days + 2 or 3 days off per week) positions available. Candidates must be available to work a combination of day and evening shifts (evening shifts generally have early finishes - around 9-10pm)

Pay rate

: 12.60/h

Previous experience in hospitality is required.

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our our vibrant five-star visitor centre in the heart of Edinburgh as Event Hospitality staff for our busy 6 month period starting April.

Our diverse team, comprised of individuals from various backgrounds, creates a dynamic and inclusive environment that celebrates Scotland's rich whisky heritage year-round.

A peek into the position

As an Event Hospitality staff, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operation of our events. You will work as part of the front-of-house to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. From assisting with food and beverage service to maintaining cleanliness and organisation, you will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that exceeds customer expectations.

Your role in a nutshell

- Set up event spaces according to client specifications

- Serve food and beverages to guests with a professional and friendly demeanor

- Assist in the preparation and breakdown of events

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas

- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service

- Address guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.

-Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the restaurant.
