16 hours per week, some evenings and occasional weekends

26,983.93 (pro rata for 16 hours = 11,513.14)

Role Description:

You will be responsible for planning, delivering and overseeing a calendar of social events toreduce social isolation for people with learning disabilities, and autistic adults, in line with project outcomes and targets. You will promote social activities to beneficiaries and potential users as well as develop relationships with key contacts such as social care providers and work with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of social activities. You will be responsible for recruiting, inducting, training and providing ongoing support to Event teams which includes a paid leader and volunteers.

Duties



Event Administration:

Promptly review event reports after each event, working with EventLeads to ensure they are returned in a timely manner, ensuring completeness, accuracy andconsistency. Monitor and address challenges that may arise and make improvements wherenecessary. Work with the administrator to ensure event team packs are correct andpaperwork is provided in advance of the event.

Venue Management:

Identify suitable, accessible and inclusive venues across Lancashireand Greater Manchester and ensure venue risk assessments are completed and reviewed.Establish and maintain string relationships with venue managers to secure consistent, safeand appropriate spaces for events.

Event Team Coordination:

Recruit, induct, train and provide ongoing support for EventLeads and work with the volunteer coordinator to ensure adequate volunteer coverage at allevents. Ensure Event Teams are adequately trained, briefed and supported before, duringand after events.

Community Engagement and Promotion:

Build relationships with participants, families,carers, social care providers and community organisations, to promote event attendanceand engagement. Promote events and the wider organisation through social media, directmarketing and community networking.

Data Collection and Evaluation:

Regular evaluation of events to ensure they meet theneeds of participants. Collaborate with the administrator to collect and manage monitoringdata and ensure it is collected and stored in line with GDPR and monitoring requirements.Ensure the CRM system is up-to-date at all times and use data to evaluate succesess, identifyimprovements and report on project outcomes.

Communication:

Maintain regular communication with line manager and the wider team toprovide updates on activites, progress, challenges and successes in team meetings andreports. Address and resolve challenges proactively.

General Duties:

To represent the organisation positively at all times; be aware of projecttargets and the wider strategic objectives of the organisation and assist in working towardsthese; understand and adhere to all organisational policies and procedures; maintainpersonal and professional development at all times; undertake appropriate training asrequired; undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonablyrequired, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
