At Fitwise we specialise in delivering educational events and because of business growth have an exciting opportunity for an Event Coordinator to join our team based at our offices in West Lothian.

As an Event Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for all event enquiries, providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in supporting Event Managers, ensuring the smooth planning and execution of events.

While this role is predominantly administrative, you may also coordinate a small portfolio of events.

Travel will be required to attend events.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled administrator, or an individual keen to build a career in the event / conference sector.

This is a hybrid role, and we are happy to accommodate a combination of home and office working (minimum 3 days in the office). All new starts are however expected to be in the office full time for the initial training period.

About you:



A strong administrative background.

Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to quickly learn and be confident in the use of IT systems and platforms.

Experience in a professional office environment.

Confident and friendly telephone manner.

Clear and concise written and verbal skills.

An innate desire to help people and solve problems.

Ability to work under pressure during exceptionally busy times.

Attention for detail and accuracy.

Methodical approach to work and time management and has the ability to prioritise workloads.

Works well within the team and is self-motivated.

Presents a personal image of pride and professionalism.

The ability to adapt is a must.

A willingness to travel within the UK to attend our events as part of the onsite team.

Initial interviews will take place over Teams. Those who make it to second stage will be invited to an in-person interview at the Fitwise offices in Seafield near Bathgate.

Important! The office location is not well served by public transport (postcode EH47 7AQ). While the office is on a bus route, access can be tricky, and we encourage candidates to take this into consideration. There is plenty of free parking available.
