Job Overview



We are looking for an experienced and organised

Event Coordinator

in charitable sector, who will plan and execute the conference and fundraising event to commemorate the UN International Widows Day

Key Responsibilities



Develop event concept that aligns with the charity's mission and fundraising goals. Manage all logistics, including venue booking, permits, catering, and supplier coordination. Engage with donors, corporate sponsors, and community groups to secure event funding and resources. Oversee event marketing Organise volunteer support, ensuring they are well-briefed and motivated. Handle event registration, guest lists, and post-event evaluations to measure impact. Work closely with internal teams to align events with fundraising and outreach strategies. Ensure all events comply with health and safety regulations and risk assessments. Monitor budgets to ensure cost-effective event planning and execution.

Skills & Experience Required



Experience in event planning, fundraising, or project management in the charity/non-profit sector for at least 3 years. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. Budget management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools Passion for social causes and a commitment to empowering widows globally.

Desirable Skills



Experience working with international charities or humanitarian organisations for at least 3 years. Able to draft well-articulated and professionally worded emails, demonstrating a high standard of communication. Social media and digital marketing experience.
