Responsibilities

Applying paint, wallpaper, and decorative finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial settings Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion of finishes Interpreting design plans and specifications to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes Assisting with construction painting tasks as required on-site Communicating effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress Operating relevant equipment safely and efficiently, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and ladders Maintaining a clean and organised work area throughout each project Ensuring all decorating work complies with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in decorating, including construction painting and interior finishing Valid driving licence with the ability to travel between sites as necessary Fluency in English with strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions accurately Good organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks such as lifting materials and working at heights on ladders or scaffolding A keen eye for detail and colour coordination to deliver visually appealing results Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different project requirements
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 12.21-12.86 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
