About the role:




We're looking for a dynamic Manager to co-lead the delivery of our Central Events programme and drive the strategic execution of medium to large scale events across PwC. Reporting into the Head of Event Delivery, this role blends creative planning with operational leadership, with a focus on team management, resource allocation, and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in shaping how we deliver impactful, brand-aligned experiences for our stakeholders.

What your days will look like:



Oversee comprehensive delivery of medium-large scale events, managing aspects such as scoping, planning, budgeting, logistics, AV/production, supplier coordination, onsite execution, and post-event review. Co-manage the central events team, providing leadership and direction, and ensuring efficient team operations alongside the Head of Event Delivery and co-manager. Line manage team members, focusing on guidance, mentoring, and coaching to encourage professional development and recognize growth opportunities. Liaise with internal stakeholders to define event objectives and metrics, maintain strong interdepartmental and supplier relationships, and enhance stakeholder experience and team efficiency. Prepare strategic monthly reports for senior leadership, addressing progress, risks, strategic insights, and fiscal year priorities. Uphold quality and brand standards across events, share best practices, and engage in value-focused discussions to align event activities with business objectives and KPIs.

This role is for you if:



Extensive experience in managing complex, high-profile events at medium to large scale. Proficient in people management, including line management, coaching, and development. Strong ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Commercially minded with a focus on delivering value and achieving ROI. Proven track record in process improvement, systems evaluation, and implementing best practices. Highly organized, adept at managing multiple priorities and adhering to deadlines. Proactive and creative, committed to innovation and enhancing services. Confident in challenging the status quo to drive improvements in delivery and outcomes.
