We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting band members and LED candles to our events. This role requires a professional attitude, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including minibuses The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Duties
Safely operate company vehicles, including minibuses to various locations throughout the UK.
Plan routes efficiently to meet event schedules and optimise fuel consumption.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the team involved.
Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations during driving and loading activities.
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver or similar role.
Valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle type, including a D1 driver qualification if applicable.
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
Demonstrated ability to operate vehicles safely in various conditions.

A standard day would include -
Collection of one of our vehicles in Coventry, and then drive to the events venue (various throughout the UK) with the band members and LED candles. Help unload the van for the event, be on hand for any assistance required during the event and then drive back to Coventry after the event.
