We're now looking for a creative and organised

Event & Engagement Coordinator

to help us take our event offerings to the next level and build deeper local connections.

Role Overview:

As our Event & Engagement Coordinator, you'll be responsible for helping to design, promote, and deliver a variety of events that reflect the spirit of Coconut Paradise. You'll also help us grow our visibility in the local community by building relationships with businesses, encouraging catering opportunities, and promoting our unique offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate in-house events from concept to execution Design promotional materials such as posters and flyers (digital and print) Upload and manage event listings on platforms like Eventbrite, Facebook, Instagram, and Google Work closely with the team to shape event themes and experiences Reach out to local businesses, offices, and organisations to promote catering services, tasting sessions, and collaborations Attend community events or meetings where appropriate to represent Coconut Paradise Support with on-the-day event logistics when required

What We're Looking For:

Strong organisational and communication skills Experience in events, marketing, or community outreach Comfortable creating content using Canva or similar tools Confident using social media and online event platforms Proactive and personable - someone who loves building relationships An understanding or appreciation of Caribbean food and culture is a plus Able to work independently and manage their own time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 17,910.02-28,066.50 per year

Expected hours: 8 - 15 per week
