Overview
Retinue is seeking an organised, proactive and detail-driven individual to join our high-performing Sales Enablement team as a
Sales Engagement Coordinator.
This is a client-facing role with a clear dual focus:
50% dedicated to proactive lead generation within the NHS sector
, including researching opportunities, coordinating outreach, tracking pipeline progress and supporting the sales team to secure meetings.
50% providing wider sales coordination and engagement support
across the sales and account management lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution of key activities and events.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering impactful experiences for both internal teams and external stakeholders. Working closely with Sales & Solutions Design/Bids, Account Directors, Implementation & Commercial and our Marketing team, you will ensure client project-based tasks are executed seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Engagement Support
Proactively research and identify new NHS sales opportunities, including tracking upcoming tender opportunities, contract end dates and relevant Trust/ICB developments.
Coordinate and submit FOIA requests specifically targeted at generating actionable sales intelligence for the NHS sector.
Maintain an accurate NHS sales pipeline in HubSpot, tracking leads, opportunities and outreach activities.
Coordinate outbound campaigns (e.g. mailers, follow-up calls, LinkedIn activity) to generate meetings and qualify leads for the Sales & Account teams.
Support sales team with tailored NHS prospecting packs, briefing notes and meeting preparation including liaising with internal and external stakeholders over diaries, agendas and attendees.
Attend meetings as required with the sales or account team.
Events Coordination
Provide full event execution support including pre-engagement & project planning, logistics, Retinue & client delegate management, merchandise/collateral preparation, and liaison with Account Directors regarding current customer attendance.
Attend and support events alongside the Sales and Account teams, ensuring smooth delivery and a high-quality client experience.
Support the completion of 'follow-up' actions post event.
Own the execution of 'experience days' and similar in-person customer engagements.
Content & Communication
Draft content for blogs and contribute to quarterly client newsletter development.
Provide support in curating and coordinating campaign & engagement materials, aligned to our client needs.
Social Value & Network Engagement
Coordinate and manage social values data collection, ensuring alignment with framework commitments and client reporting requirements.
Support the execution of social value initiatives and internal projects.
Lead coordination of our Women in Finance &Procurement network (Empower Her Future), including communications, event planning and relationship management.
What We're Looking For
A proactive, relationship-driven communicator with a sharp eye for detail.
Someone confident with managing multiple tasks & deadlines, with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
A client-focused mindset with experience in (or a desire to grow within) sales support, engagement, or marketing roles.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders in a hybrid environment.
Experience with CRM and marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot) is advantageous.
An understanding of social value reporting or interest in ESG impact work is a plus.
