Event Executive - GHI



Hybrid (Dartford, 3 days in office)




The salary is up to 27,000 (DOE) plus company benefits.


Are you passionate about creating exceptional events and excited to build a rewarding career in the aviation industry? Join us as an event executive, supporting the delivery of GHI's prestige networking services and playing a key role in ensuring every event runs seamlessly.

As an Event Executive, you will:



Support the delivery of GHI's networking services across meetings, conferences, and exhibitions, both behind the scenes and on site. Work collaboratively with sales, operations, marketing, content and conference teams, providing essential administrative and event support. Manage GHI meeting services, including scheduling meetings for delegates, exhibitors, and sponsors, setting up the meeting planner, carrying out conflict checks, and ensuring schedules are delivered to a premium standard. Lead GHI speed networking forums from concept to delivery, including recruitment of host airlines and ground handlers, schedule launches, and on-site support. Register delegates, manage enquiries and the conference inbox, and support venue bookings, sponsor items, and staff travel arrangements. Assist with event finance tasks, including liaising with credit control, raising invoices, and supporting bookings and sales administration. Contribute to the delivery of international exhibitions and create booking forms, contracts, and sponsorship website pages as needed.

Must-haves:



Strong organisational skills with close attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Clear, honest communication and a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and customers. The ability to manage multiple tasks across different teams and event formats. A genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer experiences and being part of the aviation community. Personable and possess an ability to deliver outstanding customer service.

Nice-to-haves:



Experience supporting conferences, exhibitions, or large-scale events. Confidence working with event systems, databases, or meeting planners. Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, or content teams.
