Position Title: Event Assistant

Duration: Fixed term contract (01/08/2025 - 07/09/2025).

Hours: 30 - 36 hours / week over 5 weeks.

Position is 5 or 6 evenings / week with mornings and Sundays off.

Shift times 4pm - 10pm (approx).

Possibility to continue full time or part time after 07/09.

Candidates must be over 18 year old.

Pay rate: 12.60/h

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our our vibrant five-star visitor centre in the heart of Edinburgh as Event Hospitality staff for our busy 5 week period.

Our diverse team, comprised of individuals from various backgrounds, creates a dynamic and inclusive environment that celebrates Scotland's rich whisky heritage year-round.

A peek into the position

As an Event Hospitality staff, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operation of our events. You will work as part of the front-of-house to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. From assisting with food and beverage service to maintaining cleanliness and organisation, you will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that exceeds customer expectations.

Your role in a nutshell

- Set up event spaces according to client specifications

- Serve food and beverages to guests with a professional and friendly demeanor

- Assist in the preparation and breakdown of events

- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of service areas

- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service

- Address guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.

-Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the restaurant.
