to join our growing team and lead immersive, interactive ghost walk experiences across

South Wales

.

We are the fastest-growing ghost walk provider in the UK, with exciting expansion plans ahead. This is a rare opportunity to join us early, grow with the company, and play a key role in developing our South Wales routes.

A candidate based in or around

Cardiff or a central South Wales location

is ideal.

Own transport is essential.

Locations Covered

You will host ghost walks across the following South Wales locations:

Cardiff Newport Barry Monmouth Chepstow Swansea
(All locations are typically within reasonable travel distance of a central South Wales base.)

This position begins on a

3-month contract

, with the intention of developing into a more permanent role for the right person. As Extours expands, successful hosts may progress into core team positions with increased responsibility, hours, and involvement in shaping the future of the company.

After a successful probationary period,

pay will increase

and

additional hours will become available

.

The Role

Host and guide ghost walks across South Wales locations Deliver engaging, memorable experiences blending true history, folklore and paranormal investigation Learn and confidently present pre-prepared content, including documented ghost sightings and local legends Use traditional ghost-hunting equipment such as EMF meters and dowsing rods Lead groups of up to 18 guests with confidence, warmth and strong stage presence Work evening shifts on a rotating schedule

Working Pattern

You will initially start on a

Thursday

, and work

Sunday

that same week The following week you will work

Friday and Saturday

This pattern then continues on a rotating basis Flexibility is required, with most work taking place

Thursday-Sunday and Friday-Saturday evenings

Pay

14.00 per hour to start Rising to

16.00 per hour after probation

14.00 per hour for training and additional work, including content creation and other support tasks

Hours

Minimum of

8 hours per week initially

Rising to

12 hours per week after probation

Opportunity for additional hours and progression into a core team role as the company grows

Who You Are

Essential:

Passionate about history, folklore and/or the paranormal Confident and friendly communicator with strong storytelling skills Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently Experience in customer-facing roles Own transport and flexible evening availability

Desirable:

Experience hosting tours, events or live experiences Background in history, folklore, theatre or education Skills in social media or content creation
