We are seeking a highly organised, energetic, and customer-focused Event Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our food trucks at events within our catering and hospitality operations. This role involves managing logistics, vendor coordination, staffing, client relations, and on-site event delivery to ensure every event runs smoothly and delivers an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or event management, a passion for food culture, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mobile environment.

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination:
Plan, organise, and execute food truck events including private functions, festivals, corporate catering, and community events.
Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and timelines.
Develop and manage event schedules, layouts, and logistics.
Vendor & Staff Management:
Train and supervise event staff, ensuring consistent service standards.
Manage staffing rosters, transportation, and equipment needs.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and licensing regulations.
Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
Handle any issues or emergencies calmly and professionally during events.
Marketing & Client Relations:
Work with marketing teams to promote events and drive attendance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and local partners.

Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2-4 years' experience in event management, catering coordination, or hospitality operations.
Strong understanding of food safety standards, mobile catering operations, and event logistics.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office, or POS systems.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Full, clean driving license (preferred for on-site management and vehicle coordination). Must be comfortable with driving a van and towing a trailer (training provided)
