About the Role

Ipsen is seeking an

Events Manager (Operations)

to deliver efficient, compliant, and high-quality event management across the UK & Ireland. This role is pivotal in building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external customers, and suppliers, ensuring every event drives continuous improvement and delivers an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for Ipsen-owned and third-party events, including congresses, advisory boards, symposia, and webinars. Coordinate logistics for delegates, staff, and speakers, covering registration, travel, accommodation, and on-site support for face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid events. Manage event-related materials, registration pages, and communications in collaboration with agencies. Provide guidance and troubleshooting for the iEngage platform, including user access, template approvals, and training sessions. Oversee vendor and stakeholder relationships, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with Ipsen standards. Analyze post-event feedback and reporting to drive continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in end-to-end event management, including planning, logistics, and delivery for in-person and virtual events. Strong understanding of compliance and industry standards, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment. Digital proficiency with event management platforms (e.g., iEngage, Cvent, Veeva Vault) is desirable.

Education & Certifications

Essential: A-level or equivalent vocational qualification and evidence of ongoing professional development. Preferred: Degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; professional event management certification.
