ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Event Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Global Events team. This role is essential in driving successful marketing campaigns for legal conferences and awards across the UK, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event marketing, exceptional organisational skills, knowledge of the legal industry is a plus. They will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our events globally, driving attendance, nominations for awards and enhancing our brand presence in the legal community.

As a key member of the team, this role is reliant on interactions with the Programming, Sales, Memberships and Operations teams. Responsibilities:



Develop and adhere to event marketing plans and timelines in an effort to reach attendee body and revenue goals. Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including but not limited to email, social media, content marketing. Write compelling and effective copy across various formats--email, web, print, and social media--to drive engagement and conversions. Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and other team members to produce high-quality marketing materials. Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet objectives. Develop relationships with industry associations and media partners to maximise event exposure. Develop and execute targeted sponsorship marketing campaigns to generate high-quality leads for the sales team. Coordinate website edits for assigned events. Awards platforms builds and management. Attend events throughout the year to assist in onsite execution, including working registration, crowd management, or other needs as outlined by the operations team. Be responsible for accurate budget management for assigned events.

Qualifications:



3+ years marketing experience, ideally in event marketing Ambitious, proactive, and calm under pressure Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and detail orientation Self-starter, efficient independently and in a team Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong customer service record Resourceful, creative problem solver Adaptable to changing event demands Able to travel to events as needed
