You'll combine imaginative event planning with savvy marketing skills to attract new visitors, engage our community, and strengthen our reputation as a must-visit destination.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a year-round marketing and events strategy aligned with business goals
Plan, promote, and deliver all seasonal and special events -- including markets, workshops, pick-your-own fruit, Halloween experiences, Christmas festivities, and more
Proactively developing new events that drive sales growth and attract new business opportunities with the wider team
Manage all marketing channels -- website, social media, email newsletters, and local advertising
Create engaging digital content (photos, videos, blogs, reels) to showcase events, products, and behind-the-scenes stories
Oversee design and production of promotional materials (signage, flyers, posters, press adverts)
Collaborate closely with the shop, cafe, butchery, deli, and play barn teams to promote offers and in-store experiences
Build relationships with local suppliers, media outlets, and community partners to maximise exposure
Manage event budgets, bookings, suppliers, and staffing logistics
Ensure that customer communications always reflect our values, and deliver a warm, memorable experience for visitors
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in event planning and marketing, ideally in retail, hospitality, or visitor attractions
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Strong digital marketing ability, including social media, website management, and email marketing tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Canva, Shopify, Digitickets, Mailerlite)
Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a flair for storytelling
Confident communicator who enjoys engaging with customers, colleagues, and local partners
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Willing to work flexibly, including weekends during major events
A genuine passion for local food, community, and the countryside
