JOB POSITION: EVENT PROMOTER

- You will be the face of the brand new event concept from the team behind Dazed Muzic, Dubtendo, Disco Wonderland + loads more. You will be the person in charge of bringing this new night to life, as a weekly Saturday clubnight in one of Bristol's longest standing music venues (newly refurbished).

Responsibilities:

On the night management every Saturday for Dazed Disco at New Bristol venue Building a rep network across UWE students, UOB students & Bristol locals Creating content for the marketing of Dazed Disco Saturdays at brand new Bristol venue Booking in local brands, resident dj's + more Liasing with the venue on a weekly basis. Handling ticketing for the night

PART TIME ROLE

- 20 hours a week starting from ASAP.

Ideal candidate:

A current UWE or UOB Bristol student or recent graduate

with an existing network within the student nightlife market. An ideal candidate will be incredibly outgoing, bubbly and have very strong personal skills. This is the ideal opportunity for someone looking to showcase their promotional skills in the events industry.

Contract length: Permanent Role with a 3 month probation period.

Pay: 12.21 per hour + bonus scheme

Responsibilities

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events Engage with potential attendees through various channels Collaborate with team members to enhance event experiences Utilize social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement Build relationships with local venues and partners Monitor ticket sales and adjust promotional efforts accordingly Provide excellent customer service to attendees before and during events Gather feedback post-events to improve future promotions

Qualifications

Proven experience in marketing or promotions Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong customer service orientation Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Passion for music and understanding of the underground scene is desirable
