The Role
This is a great opportunity for someone from a commercially focused account management background, to progress their career in an established company. The successful candidate needs to be a high energy, articulate, self-starter with a proven track record of building and developing relationships. This is an opportunity to develop a sales career within a fast-paced environment, a chance to flourish as both an individual and as part of a team. Specifically, this role will include:Develop new and existing opportunities within the UK Event sector, through consistent development of existing relationships, proactively targeting new client groups and responding to the needs of inbound enquiries.
Build strong and lasting relationships with existing and current customers to increase market share and drive sales where possible.
Maintain organisational responsibility for personal workloads, including daily upkeep of business development activity, enquiries, callbacks, opportunities, forecasted business and live projects.
Accurately forecasting project completion dates and keeping pipeline reports perpetually up to date.
Make effective use of the Company's CRM system in order to track and develop sale opportunities and key accounts effectively.
Support tender responses for larger opportunities.
Encourage multi-year commitment from a targeted client base.
Attend event sites to do pre contract site surveys or post event handover with the customer and attend internal wash-up meetings on the same.
Receive sales enquiries from potential customers and ensure their specific requirements are understood to develop through to sale.
Confidently present Lowe / PKL to organisations in several formats (presentation, sales pitch, proposal writing etc)
Make effective use of all internal IT systems to produce quotations, designs and other project specific information.
Collaborative proposal development to represent all participating stakeholders, inclusive of Project Management, Transport, Fleet, Design and Finance.
Be aware of the Lowe / PKL Group's position within the marketplace and to understand our competitors' products, pricing policy and current activity.
Qualify and quote the client as quickly as possible, same day or within 24 hours where possible.
