Catering & Team Building Events | Based in Ferndown
Applicant needs to be prepared to do all aspects of jobs that are required from cleaning / washing up to cooking, packing equipment, loading vans and if so desired with some training move on to hosting events and even demonstration work and traveling round the country to 5-star destinations for a discerning clientele.
Applicant will need to be in good physical shape, honest, methodical, well presented with good communication skills, personable and have an appreciation for good food (cooking skills are useful but not essential) with a high standard of work.
A perfect job for someone who likes variety and keen to progress life skills, full training will be given with opportunities. This is a very active role so you'll need to be in good physical shape for lifting and moving equipment and loading vans. Some days can be 12+ hours so mental stamina is just as important as physical stamina.

We are an Award-winning family business, who run pop up cookery team building events across the UK for some of the biggest companies Globally, we deliver mobile chocolate making Bake off, Sushi, cookery classes and tasting events and activities for senior managers in 5-star establishments throughout the UK. We have worked with many celebrity chefs over the years such as Michele Roux Jr, John Terrode, Marci Pierre White and Gino D'Acampo to name a few, although a small family run team, we have some big customers to please.
Warehouse roles (50%):
Loading and unloading vans
Packing and unpacking equipment
Laundry
Pot wash and cleaning
Food preparation and ordering
Driving
Event Day Roles (50%):
Loading and unloading vans
Travelling to and from venues
Driving vans
Assisting the events manager
Setup and pack down of the event
Coordinating with clients and hotel staff

Depending on your interests, confidence, and what you'd like to get out of the job, there are opportunities to be involved in the guest-facing and organisational side of events, including:
Welcoming guests and ensuring they receive outstanding service throughout the event
Supporting event management with organisational tasks on event days
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all event spaces
Coordinating with venues, vendors, security teams, and other event staff to support smooth event delivery
Handling unforeseen issues calmly to ensure guest satisfaction

Growth & Development (Optional)
If you want to, there is the opportunity to:
Learn how to present and host live cookery demonstrations for corporate clients
Assist Michelin-star chefs during events
Host and welcome clients front-of-house
No experience is required for presenting or hosting, although it's preferred. We'll give you all the training you need to confidently present live cookery demonstrations in front of a crowd.
If cooking or presenting isn't your thing, that's absolutely fine, you can focus on crew support and event delivery instead.
