Rainbow Productions is one of the World's leading costume character companies. They specialise in the event management of over 140 licensed brands/characters within the UK, and the manufacture of bespoke costume character mascots for clients, globally.
Rainbow has been established for 40 years and run all their operations including Event Management, Manufacture, Wardrobe, Refurbishment, Sales & Marketing, and Administration from their specialist production facility in SW19. An additional office and production facility will be opening in Farnham, Surrey around Q3 2025.
Event Management: Each year Rainbow organises, under license, over licensed character events throughout the UK. Working alongside licensors such as Hasbro, Mattel, Paramount, and BBC Studios, Rainbow aims to promote their brands and increase footfall for clients by providing events for popular characters/brands such as Bluey, Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, Peter Rabbit, Paddington and Hey Duggee*. Manufacture: Rainbow's reputation is second to none in creating high-end custom-made costume character mascots. The company produces around handmade mascots for many of the World's leading Brands, Attractions, Sports Teams, International Tournaments, Licensing Companies, TV and Film Studios. Clients include UEFA, Kelloggs, Ferrari, Universal DreamWorks, Merlin and LEGOto name a few.

Role Summary:
Reporting directly and working closely with the Head Of Events, the Events Talent Coordinator has responsibility for ensuring that all character events run smoothly and successfully.
The successful candidate will be:
Organised, methodical, thorough, and diligent with excellent organisational & logistical skills.
Competent in Word & Excel
25 years old or over (for insurance reasons) and hold a full UK driver's licence.
Have experience driving manual cars and small vans.
Excellent communication skills.
Over and above these attributes, the ideal candidate would already have experience working in Events, team leadership or ideally talent management.
The day-to-day responsibilities are to include:
Relationship building and management of approx.300 freelancers.
Working with rolling deadlines and ability to work quickly on last minute events.
Logging adjustments for freelancers' skills, abilities, and availability.
Booking taxis and parking for hire cars
Checking in hire cars, noting damage, and reporting to team
Ensuring event teams are briefed correctly.
Comfortable setting up PA systems and running rehearsals.
Comfortable lifting heavy costumes
Self-motivated with understanding wardrobe inventory
Being adaptable for other ad hoc duties that may arise.
