Events Department

, organise in excess of 1500 events every year, ensuring that the highest standards are created and maintained in costume character portrayal. This is achieved through auditions, castings and training and the company has held its position at the forefront of the character costume industry by:

investing in creative people and adapting their skills to Rainbow's requirements creating a unique, purpose built and designed costume character maintenance facility, training artistes from all aspects of creative industries in the unique skills required to be an inspirational costume character performer setting the standards in costume character portrayal worldwide.
Reporting directly and working closely with the EVENTS MANAGER, the Events Talent Coordinator has responsibility for ensuring that all character events run smoothly and successfully. The position is office-based Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm, but there may be some flexibility to work remotely and regular on-call weekend work.

Organised, methodical, thorough, and diligent with excellent organisational & logistical skills.

Competent in Word & Excel

25 years old or over (for insurance reasons) and hold a full UK driver's licence.

Have experience driving manual cars and small vans.

Excellent communication skills.

Over and above these attributes the ideal candidate would already have experience working in Events, team leadership or ideally talent management.

Relationship building and management of approx.250 freelancers.

Working with rolling deadlines and ability to work quickly on last minute events.

Logging adjustments for freelancers' skills, abilities, and availability.

Booking taxis and parking for hire cars

Checking in hire cars, noting damage, and reporting to team

Ensuring event teams are briefed correctly.

Comfortable setting up PA systems and running rehearsals.

Comfortable lifting heavy costumes

Organization of event schedules, aligning artist availability, and updating when appropriate

Self-motivated with understanding wardrobe inventory

Being adaptable for other ad hoc duties that may arise.
