We are looking for a professional and adaptable Events Administrator to provide exceptional administrative and on-site support for a busy programme of conferences and lectures. This role involves working closely with speakers, delegates, and venues to ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.


The position is set to commence on 19th September with a pay rate of 16.80 per hour + holiday pay. The dates of work are below:



Handover:


19th September (1/2 hours of work)


Dates of the event:
Sunday 21 September: 5pm - 9pm


Monday 22 September: 8am - 7pm


Tuesday 23 September: 8am - 9pm


Key Responsibilities



Act as a welcoming first point of contact for delegates and speakers, ensuring a professional and friendly experience Provide on-the-ground support during events, responding quickly to any operational needs or issues Assist with lecture facilitation, ensuring speakers have the necessary resources and AV setup for successful presentations Liaise with Oxford venues regarding logistics, including AV requirements, room setup, and catering arrangements Deliver consistently high standards of customer service to all attendees and stakeholders Proactively identify and resolve any operational challenges to keep events on track Support with general event administration and coordination before, during, and after events
