Job Description

For this role, you must have extensive experience in event management and digital comms, particularly focussed on digital comms content creation. You will also need experience managing and creating content for various social media platforms and p roficiency with design platform Canva and website CMS WordPress.

Duties:

Coordinate event logistics, asset delivery, and communications in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders. Liaise with speakers, exhibitors, suppliers, and venue staff to ensure smooth event execution. Lead the event on-site, troubleshooting issues and managing logistics. Design event assets using Canva and update the ImpactU website (WordPress) for promotion. Develop engaging content for social media to drive event awareness and engagement. Ensure event is delivered on schedule and within budget. Branding & Messaging: Ensure all event materials align with ImpactU's branding and messaging. Collect feedback and provide insights to inform future events.

Selection criteria:

Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience Extensive experience in event management and digital communications, with a particular focus on digital communications content creation Proven experience managing and creating content for various social media platforms, including developing engaging campaigns and increasing audience engagement Proficiency with design platform Canva and website CMS WordPress Strong ability to produce creative and compelling content that is aligned with organisational goals Excellent writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse, non-specialist audience Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently.
