Alitex Ltd, established in 1952, is a thriving family business specialising in designing and manufacturing world-class aluminium glasshouses. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Events & Sponsorship Manager to join our vibrant Marketing team. You will be integral in ensuring our presence at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and other UK and USA events reflect the beauty, craft and character of the Alitex brand. A genuine love for horticulture will be a real advantage, as will an interest in design, a keen eye for detail and a passion for nurturing meaningful relationships.

About the Role



As the Events & Sponsorship Manager you will lead the planning and delivery of events across our UK and USA markets, ensuring each one connects with our audience and showcases the very best of Alitex. You'll also be responsible for managing sponsorships and collaborations, making sure we maximise every partnership opportunity.

Planning and executing events, trade shows and exhibitions. Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and staffing. Setting and tracking KPIs for each event, ensuring the team understands goals and responsibilities. Developing event marketing materials and promotional strategies. Identifying events and sponsorship opportunities that connect with new and existing audiences. Reporting on event performance and providing recommendations for future improvements. Manage the Events and Sponsorship budgets - plan the annual spend across all B2C and B2B events and sponsorships, and tracking throughout the year. Managing sponsorships, partnerships and relationships in the horticultural world.
Office hours are

8am to 5pm (for 40hrs/week Monday - Friday),

but the nature of the role will require work outside of these hours and at weekends, in which time off in lieu will be provided.

Salary:

34,000 per annum depending on experience. Ideally 2+ years' experience in marketing and events.

About You



You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys working at pace and thrives on variety. You will be organised, creative and comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting dirty!

Marketing / Event Production qualification or relevant experience Proven experience in events management and budget handling Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication and confident building great relationships Happy to travel and be on site at events across the UK and USA Genuine interest in nature and plants, and/or a background in the horticultural industry a plus

Other items of note



Alitex is based in a rural location near Petersfield in Hampshire, with limited access to public transport. The role is office-based. Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK. 22 days holiday per annum, extending to 24 after 1 year's service. You will have monthly development meetings with your line manager.
