Finlayson Media Communications Ltd (FMC) is an award winning, dental communications company that connects the dental community and industry through a myriad of powerful channels encompassing online, print, webinars, social media, exhibitions, and awards. FMC's events are attended by thousands of dental professionals and companies targeting the dental market.

The role:



The Events & Awards Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering marketing campaigns that promote FMC's exhibitions and awards. Working closely with the Events & Awards Marketing Manager, you'll help plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel campaigns to drive delegate attendance, exhibitor leads, and brand engagement. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive marketer who enjoys variety, deadlines, and seeing campaigns come to life at live events.

Responsibilities:



Support the delivery of marketing campaigns for FMC's exhibitions and awards, managing activity across email, socials, digital, and direct mail
Assist with the scheduling and delivery of direct mail, email, and digital campaigns related to events and awards.

Assist with campaign planning, scheduling, and reporting to ensure all channels are delivered on time and to a high standard. Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, editorial) to deliver creative assets and promotional materials. Help manage relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and key industry stakeholders to encourage cross-promotion and maximise event visibility. Update event and awards webpages on Dentistry.co.uk with the latest speakers, dates, and shortlists via WordPress. Support on-the-day social media coverage and audience engagement at live events and awards nights. Manage audience segmentation and data updates to ensure we're communicating effectively with our core dental audiences.

What we need from you:



At least a year of hands on experience in marketing, communications, or events (B2B or media background desirable) or a marketing degree including an industrial placement. Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and projects. Confident communicator -- comfortable working with stakeholders, exhibitors, and speakers. Experience using email marketing platforms, social media channels, and ideally WordPress or CMS tools. A proactive mindset -- you enjoy solving problems, spotting opportunities, and improving processes. Excellent attention to detail and strong written skills for crafting clear, engaging communications. Ability to attend our full programme of events & awards throughout the working year (with time off in lieu for Saturdays worked)

Pay: 27,000.00-30,000.00 per year
