to take charge of delivering high-quality meetings, conferences, and banqueting services in our newly refurbished, city-centre venue.

What You'll Do

As

Events & Banqueting Supervisor

, you'll ensure the successful delivery of events - from setup to service and post-event handover - while leading a team that creates exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of meetings, events, and banqueting functions Lead, train, and support the Events & Banqueting team to deliver excellent service Work closely with event planners and other departments to ensure smooth delivery Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all regulations Monitor departmental costs, staffing, and stock control Contribute to financial and operational reporting Maintain and update SOPs to ensure service consistency Champion Marriott brand standards in every guest interaction

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a confident, proactive, and hands-on leader who thrives in a high-paced hospitality environment.

Experience:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within events, conferences, or banqueting (preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment)

Skills & Qualities:

Strong communication and leadership skills Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving Calm under pressure and focused on delivering results Flexible team player with a positive, can-do attitude Good level of spoken and written English is essential
