Role Summary
As Event Coordinator, you will plan, manage and deliver the logistical and operational elements of large events and visitor group activities. You will ensure safe traffic flow, visitor movement and site coordination, working closely with the Site Operations Team Lead and key personnel.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver logistics for major charity events and large visitor groups.
Coordinate road closures and approvals with Local Authority, Highways Authority and Police.
Secure land and field bookings with local estate partners.
Manage safe movement of vehicles and visitors across the site.
Work with external agencies (Police, stewarding firms, District Council, Highways Authority).
Prepare event documentation, safety details and traffic management plans.
Lead development of Event Management Plans, including medical support, stewarding and waste services.
Organise internal staff and volunteer resources for major events.
Manage temporary road signage, deployment, maintenance and safe removal.
Restore and reset the site promptly following events.
Liaise with civil authorities, residents and local businesses to minimise community impact.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in event operations, logistics or traffic management.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Strong communication and relationship-building ability.
Confident working with external agencies and coordinating safety processes.
Commercially aware with strong financial discipline.
Calm, methodical and highly organised under pressure.
Supportive of the charitable mission and values of the organisation.
Weekend work required April-October
