What is the job role?

SunGod are looking for an energetic, organised, and commercially minded Events Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll take ownership of planning and delivering unforgettable events that help to spread the SunGod mission to become the leading performance eyewear brand. You'll coordinate activations and community meetups to large-scale experiential campaigns that drive engagement and growth. You'll execute how we bring our brand to life in real-world moments, creating experiences that inspire customers, partners, and our global community.


As a self-starter and team player, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across marketing, retail, and partnerships to ensure every touchpoint leaves a lasting impression. You are a doer who focuses on event efficiencies and systems to ensure a smooth-running activation plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute SunGod events and activations across the UK and internationally - from grassroots community gatherings to high-profile brand showcases.



Deliver exceptional customer-first experiences, ensuring every event aligns with SunGod's brand values and exceeds expectations.



Manage logistics and operations - working closely with Partnerships managers to execute venue sourcing and supplier management to set up and post-event reporting.



Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and partnerships to amplify event impact across channels.



Drive brand visibility and awareness in real life.



Track and analyse event performance, gathering insights to improve future events and maximise ROI.



Represent SunGod with confidence and charisma at events, embodying the brand's personality and energy.



Engage with event partners, ensuring SunGod's reputation is upheld.




Support commercial planning and operations, ensuring events contribute to wider business objectives and sales growth.



Champion organisation and attention to detail, keeping multiple projects on track and delivering to tight deadlines.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal person has the following skills, experiences and competencies:

Experience & Industry Knowledge

Proven Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience successfully managing and executing events, with a strong preference for experience within the sports, fitness, or outdoor events industry.

Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimise efficient operating procedures and workflows to maximise event productivity and minimise risk.

Practical & Technical Skills

Hands-on Execution & Problem Solving: Highly practical and resourceful, with the ability to perform on-the-fly technical fixes and maintenance for event infrastructure, including stands, activation stages, and equipment.

Logistics Management: Experience overseeing site-build logistics, vendor coordination, and ensuring all physical assets are installed and maintained to the highest standards.

Communication & Team Coordination

Cross-Functional Leadership: A clear and articulate communicator capable of coordinating complex schedules and deliverables across diverse teams, including internal departments, external vendors, and key stakeholders.

On the Ground Coordination: Exceptional skills in live, on-the-ground event communication, providing clear and concise direction to event staff, ensuring seamless execution during high-pressure situations.

Availability & Cultural Fit

Flexible Schedule: The capacity and willingness to work a flexible schedule necessary to meet event demands, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.

Industry Passion: A genuine interest in the outdoor industry, reflecting a personal enthusiasm that aligns with the company's mission and event content.
