Having transitioned from our previous affiliation with the University of East London, we now operate autonomously, empowering us to innovate and engage with an even broader range of public, private, and third-sector stakeholders.

The Role



As an Events Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of both virtual and in-person conferences and training courses. From overseeing event logistics to liaising with delegates, sponsors, and venues, you'll ensure a seamless experience for all involved. The role reports to the Senior Conference Production Manager and requires occasional UK travel and overnight stays.

What You'll Be Doing



Event Planning & Delivery



Plan, coordinate, and execute online and in-person events Manage sponsor onboarding and relationship support Handle delegate communication, support, and post-sale care Coordinate with internal teams to produce event materials and updates Manage logistics for venues, speakers, and suppliers Monitor event progress and report to stakeholders Handle delegate feedback, surveys, and data reporting

Operations & Communications



Oversee shared team inbox and direct queries appropriately Build lasting relationships with venues, suppliers, and partners Manage event assets, including physical materials and digital tools Contribute to internal process improvements and team initiatives

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in coordinating events (virtual and/or in-person) Excellent organisational, communication, and admin skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with CRMs and managing databases Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work to deadlines Flexibility to travel for events when needed Familiarity with Zoom, HubSpot, and Canva (desirable)
