About the Role



As

Events Manager

, you will lead the planning, hosting and delivery of The Staff Canteen's live events across the UK. You will be responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences, managing logistics and suppliers, fulfilling sponsor requirements and delivering events that reflect the quality and ambition of the The Staff Canteen brand.

This role requires strong organisation, confident hosting skills and the ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders with precision. You will research and build attendee pipelines, use LinkedIn and AI tools to support outreach, and collaborate with editorial, video and partnerships teams to ensure events are delivered seamlessly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities



Plan, organise and deliver live events from start to finish Host events confidently, delivering introductions and guiding event flow Coordinate venues, suppliers, logistics, schedules and budgets Build and manage attendee lists using LinkedIn and industry research Use AI tools to support outreach and audience growth Ensure sponsor requirements are fulfilled and professionally delivered Manage CRM records, invitations and guest communications Collaborate with editorial, video, sales and operations teams Lead on-site setup, coordination and event-day execution Produce post-event feedback, reports and recommendations Maintain exceptional time management across all event timelines

Skills & Experience Essential



Experience in planning and delivering live events (minimum 2+ years) Confident public speaker with experience hosting events Strong organisational and logistical planning skills Excellent time management -- for self and coordinating others Comfortable using LinkedIn for research and attendee sourcing Ability to use AI tools for outreach and workflow support Strong communication and relationship-building abilities Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Professional, calm and confident under pressure

Desirable



Background in hospitality, food media, events or similar industries Experience working with sponsors or commercial partners Familiarity with social media activity at live events

Personal Qualities



Warm, confident and engaging when hosting Highly organised and detail-focused Proactive and solutions-driven Comfortable working in fast-paced, people-oriented environments Professional presentation and communication Ability to build strong relationships with chefs, FOH teams, operators and partners

Additional Requirements



Willingness to travel across the UK for events Occasional evening work for event delivery Represent The Staff Canteen with professionalism at all times
