We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of a diverse range of events in the season ahead. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring each event runs smoothly, delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximising revenue opportunities through effective management. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality organisation, and delivering memorable occasions within a family owned / operated hotel.

Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, logistics, internal catering, and entertainment arrangements.
Manage event budgets and ensure all activities are delivered within financial parameters.
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored event solutions.
Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all elements are executed to high standards.
Proactive approach to utilise additional services or products to maximise event revenue.
Supervise on-site team staff, advance planning of all events, take part on "day of event" to enrich point of contact relationship thus ensuring seamless operations.
Maintain strong communication with client(s), kitchen team, and F.O.H operatives to ensure timely delivery of services.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the event and address any issues promptly.
Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future occasions.
Experience
Proven experience in event management within hospitality, hotel, or restaurant environments is desirable, (min 3 years would be an advantage)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on projects in advance, and see all aspects through to conclusion.
Excellent time management skills to meet agreed deadlines and coordinate various tasks efficiently. Keen eye for detail to enhance the business reputation.
Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
Experience in tactical development of reaching new market opportunities.
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service.
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for success. Recent completion of Hospitality & Event management course candidates will also be given consideration.
Opportunities exist within the business for promotion to management level.
Mixed set of skills in F.O.H, events, core leadership will all add to the enjoyment of the post. Candidates will be required to take part in day to day operations.
