in restaurants, conference & banqueting, or event catering?

Dine is seeking an

energetic, bright, and customer-focused individual

with the ambition to manage

high-profile weddings and events

across a range of prestigious Liverpool venues.

You'll train alongside an experienced Senior Event Manager, learning the full spectrum of

event catering, planning, and venue management

. This is a hands-on role with fantastic opportunities for progression within a well-established company.

Key Responsibilities



As an Event Manager in training, you'll work toward confidently selling, planning, and delivering our full range of services. Once trained, your role will include:

Managing client enquiries

- conducting meetings and venue viewings in a timely, professional, and consultative manner.

Creating high-quality proposals

that showcase Dine's creativity, service excellence, and attention to detail.

Maintaining proactive communication

with clients and suppliers to ensure all planning milestones and deadlines are met.

Organising tastings and planning meetings

, producing clear and comprehensive event documentation.

Delivering events to the highest standard

- from meticulous preparation to flawless on-the-day coordination.

Continuously improving performance

, applying learning from each event to raise the bar for the next.

Leading teams on-site

, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless, memorable experience.

Skills & Experience



Minimum

2 years' experience

in a busy hospitality environment (restaurant, conference, or event catering). Proven experience delivering food and beverage service for

80-200 guests

. Strong

time management

and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent

written and verbal communication

skills with keen attention to detail. Confident in

client-facing settings

, maintaining impeccable personal and professional standards. Capable of

leading event operations

and motivating a team to deliver excellence. Good understanding of

budgeting and GP management

.

Additional Requirements



Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work, including loading and unloading event equipment. Naturally

outgoing and confident

, with strong client relationship skills. A passion for

great food and hospitality

. High standards in

literacy, numeracy, and IT proficiency

. Strong sense of

ownership and pride

in representing the Dine brand. Excellent

time management

and commitment to meeting objectives.

Full, clean driving licence

and access to your own transport.
