We are seeking a dynamic and organised Event Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless event operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maximising revenue opportunities through effective upselling.

This is a full time job with a mixture of hours, including office days 9.30am - 5.30pm at our office in Stroud. Then evenings and weekends running events across numerous venues within Gloucestershire & Worcestershire.
You must have a UK driving license.

Duties
Plan and coordinate all aspects of front of house operations at weddings & events around Gloucestershire at multiple venues.
Work closely with our kitchen team to achieve the highest of food service standards.
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored event solutions.
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations from start to finish.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
Supervise staff involved in event preparation and execution, providing leadership and guidance.
Hosting wedding fairs & other promotional events to advance the business.
Sales - being part of the team of event managers in the office who sell our catering to couples, business' & private clients. This isn't a direct approach sales, but dealing with enquiries & actively working to take new bookings.
Office based work including dealing with enquiries via phone calls & emails.
Skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members.
Proven experience in hospitality settings such as restaurants or hotels is highly desirable.
Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Ideal qualifications (these are not requirements, but are desirable)
Basic food hygiene
First aid trained/H&S training/Fire training
Qualifications in hospitality or event management
Alcohol license holder
