London, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Oritain is the global leader in product verification, with locations in Auckland, Dunedin, London, Singapore and Washington D.C. Our vision is to be the source of truth in global supply chains and our mission is to harness science, technology and services to create a community of origin verified buyers and suppliers, protecting our people and planet.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager, the

Events Marketing Manager

plays a pivotal role in bringing Oritain's brand to life on a global stage.

You'll lead the development and execution of event marketing and sales strategies that build awareness, generate leads, and create meaningful engagement with our customers and partners worldwide.

As the central point of coordination for all marketing-sponsored and sales-led events, you'll ensure every touchpoint, from planning and promotion to post-event follow-up, is aligned, impactful, and flawlessly executed. Collaboration will be key, as you'll work closely with regional teams, partners, and stakeholders to deliver events that reflect our brand, our values, and our mission to protect people and planet.

This is a global role, so international travel (around 30%) is part of the adventure. You'll be on-site managing key events, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring every detail runs seamlessly- from logistics to brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

You'll lead the planning and execution of Oritain's global events strategy- from high-impact trade shows and industry conferences, to webinars and bespoke experiences that bring our story to life.

Working across marketing, sales, product, and executive teams, you'll ensure every event is seamlessly delivered, aligned with our commercial goals, and memorable for the right reasons.

From concept to completion, you'll manage every detail including content creation, targeted promotion, program development, vendor coordination, and communications, all while keeping budgets, timelines, and logistics firmly on track.

You'll track and measure success using key metrics such as ROI, revenue impact, and attendee satisfaction, using those insights to continuously refine and improve future activity.

Relationships will be at the heart of what you do; building strong connections with partners, vendors, and industry influencers, and supporting our executives and sales teams to deliver confident, high-impact presentations on the global stage. You'll also adapt event marketing for different cultural and language contexts, coordinating translations and localised content to ensure our message resonates wherever we show up.

Skills & Experience

You'll bring 4+ years of hands-on experience in global events marketing, with a strong track record of planning and executing large-scale, high-impact events.

You're a natural project manager- organised, detail-oriented, and confident juggling multiple projects while keeping deadlines, budgets, and stakeholders aligned.

You communicate with clarity and confidence, build strong relationships, and know how to negotiate and collaborate effectively with everyone from senior executives to external partners.

You're comfortable using modern marketing tools- from automation platforms (such as HubSpot) and CRM systems (like Salesforce), to event management tools such as CVENT, and you use data and insights to continually improve outcomes.

Experience working in a global or multinational environment will help you navigate diverse teams and audiences, and knowledge of the supply chain sector is a bonus (but not essential).

You'll hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or have equivalent experience, and you'll be ready to travel globally, managing on-site events around 30% of the time to ensure every detail runs seamlessly.
