35,000 rising to 45,000 after successful completion of a 4-month probation period.

The opportunity:



The Event Marketing Manager is central to driving delegate ticket and awards entry revenue across the B2B Marketing events portfolio. Reporting into the Group Head of Marketing & Events, the Marketing Manager will lead on the development, execution, and analysis of all marketing campaigns to meet ticket/ awards entry targets, along with generating new event sponsorship prospects through targeted lead generation activity. The Events Marketing Manager will also work closely with the Group Head of Marketing & Events and wider marketing team and business to ensure that the events align with and support the wider Propolis marketing and sales strategy.

Meet or exceed delegate ticket revenue targets for B2B Marketing paid conferences Meet or exceed awards entry revenue targets for B2B Marketing awards programmes Meet or exceed delegate registration and attendance targets for B2B Marketing free to attend events Meet or exceed sponsorship lead generation targets for B2B marketing events & awards Meet or exceed individual event NPS targets Meet or exceed the target for generation of qualified Propolis marketing leads from events as first touch point

Responsibilities:



Develop a clear marketing strategy for our events focused on delegate and awards entry revenue. Lead on the build and execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns for each event to meet individual delegate/ entry revenue targets Lead on the build and execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns for each event to meet individual sponsor lead and meeting generation targets Management of Marketing Executive, providing ongoing support and coaching to ensure they meet their individual OKRs and personal development objectives Brief and allocate resources for Inside Sales team to drive bookings. Close monitoring and regular reporting of OKRs and key metrics to ensure event performance stays on track. Proactively identify and recommend initiatives to senior management to emerging opportunities and challenges. Provide monthly analysis and summary of activity for Board reports. Gather insights to identify, recommend and action opportunities for improving future events and enhancing the marketing campaigns as part of event launch planning processes. Work with Conference Producer to define and write a robust value proposition for each event. Work with Propolis Marketing Manager to ensure each event supports the Propolis marketing strategy to generate and nurture new business and renewals. Proactively identify and recommend initiatives to enhance the events to help attract and nurture Propolis leads. Champion data strategy to generate a constant flow of new and relevant contacts and sales leads. Lead on the management of all event tech platforms, ensuring functionality is fully optimised across both marketing and events team, as well as the wider business Full oversight of marketing budget for each event, ensuring costs are kept within budget and paid activity delivers clear ROI. Work with the wider marketing team to ensure current martech platforms are continually reviewed and fully optimised in the business to ensure ROI. Be a driver for innovation in the marketing team, identifying opportunities for product development and process improvement that support both the event and wider business objectives.

You are an experienced events marketing manager now ready to take on greater responsibilities and own the marketing strategy for your own portfolio of events. Skills and experience required:



3-4 events marketing experience at manager level Solid understanding of how to build and execute a successful B2B event marketing campaigns Demonstrable experience in digital marketing including social media (paid and organic) and SEO. Experience of PPC is preferable but not essential. Experience of marketing tech including marketing automation platforms, event registration platforms, web and social analytics and CMS Creative thinker with strong copywriting skills and a flair for compelling marketing campaigns Excellent project management skills with the ability to work on multiple campaigns while managing stakeholders. A good understanding of paid and organic social media marketing. Proficient in analysing marketing data to draw insights for data-led, responsive decision-making. Excellent Excel skills. Commercially focused, adaptable and able to bring new ideas on board. Adaptable and confident, open to trying new ideas and techniques. A natural leader who is also comfortable working at a fast pace and executing tasks.
