About Us
The Free Company is a small, independent hospitality business based on a regenerative farm just outside Edinburgh. We run a seasonal restaurant, host weddings and private events, and curate collaborative dinners and workshops - all shaped by the land and the seasons.
Rooted in sustainability and community, we care deeply about food, farming, and creating thoughtful experiences. You'll be joining a close-knit, creative team with space to contribute ideas and grow with the business.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an organised and energetic Events & Sales Coordinator to join our small team and help us grow the events side of our farm-based hospitality business. This role combines operational support - working closely with our Restaurant & Events Manager to keep everything running smoothly - with proactive business development, helping us bring in new clients and shape an exciting calendar of weddings, private events, workshops and seasonal gatherings.
You'll be involved in everything from first enquiries and client communication to coordinating logistics, creating briefing sheets, and managing bookings - while also exploring new opportunities, building relationships, and contributing ideas to help us grow.
If you're someone who finds satisfaction in the details, loves good food and good people, and gets a buzz from seeing an event come together - without too many late-night shifts - this could be a brilliant fit.
