The Hive London is an internationally renowned Stadium facility and Football Centre which is the largest of its kind in Europe. As well as Artificial and Grass football facilities there is a gym, medical scanning centre, banqueting, event spaces, bars and Starbucks Cafe.

Overview:



The Event Sales Executive is responsible for driving event revenue through the creation, promotion, and sale of event packages. This role focuses on generating new business, managing existing enquiries, and ensuring a high standard of client service from initial enquiry through to event delivery. The position requires close collaboration with operations to ensure all spaces are set up to the agreed standard and that client expectations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales & Revenue Generation



Proactively generate new event business through outbound sales activity, networking, and creative sales initiatives.

Create and develop new event sales packages tailored to different customer types, occasions, and market segments.

Promote and sell existing event packages already in place, maximising revenue opportunities.

Identify and attract new customers by proposing innovative event concepts, packages, and pricing structures.

Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and revenue KPIs.

Client Management



Act as the main point of contact for event clients from initial enquiry through to confirmation.

Respond to all client enquiries within a maximum of 24 hours, ensuring clear, professional, and timely communication.

Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Prepare and issue accurate quotations, contracts, and proposals in line with company procedures.

Event Coordination & Standards



Liaise closely with the Operations and Events teams to ensure all rooms and event spaces are set up to the agreed specification and company standards.

Ensure all elements included within event packages are clearly communicated, delivered, and signed off.

Attend site visits and client show-rounds where required to support the sales process.

Flag any operational risks or special requirements early to ensure smooth event delivery.

Marketing & Business Development

Contribute ideas for new event offerings, seasonal promotions, and targeted sales campaigns.

Support wider marketing initiatives by providing insight into customer trends and feedback.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of competitors, market pricing, and industry trends.

Administration & Reporting



Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, and client communications.

Provide regular sales updates and forecasts to senior management.

Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Skills & Attributes



Proven experience in sales, hospitality sales, or a similar customer-facing sales role.

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to create and sell compelling event packages.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.

Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-driven approach.

Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams to deliver high-quality events

Salary:

27,000 per annum

Commission:

3% on event sales made and completed. 1.5% on Hive Banqueting catering events

Hours:

As per rota - 5 days per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00 per year
