Job Description

We need volunteers to help on Mencap NI's 60th Anniversary Golf Day. You can help raise money for Mencap Northern Ireland, by getting involved in a fun day with local sporting celebrities, golf and games. To help make the lives of people with a learning disability happier and healthier.
We need volunteers to support on the day. This can include course set-up, preparing the course and the signage; registering attendees and sponsors; assembling and giving out goodie bags; helping with prize giving for winners of the golf games; communicating with golfers and being a friendly face to support or provide information on the day.
We are looking for people who are friendly and approachable, able to take instructions, reliable and patient , able to work as part of a team, and accepting of others who might be different to yourself .
If you are a golf or sports fan this is the perfect event for you. Some benefits for you include that will you be at a golf course and the local celebrities will be in attendance.
Celebrity Guests include: Liam Beckett MBE, U105's Denise Watson, World Champion Boxer Brian Magee, Footballing legend Keith Gillespie, Olympian Boxer Paddy Barnes and Snooker's Joe Swail.
