12.85 per hour - Zero hours contract, Part-time 12-month contract
We are seeking reliable enthusiastic and committed applicants to join our team of exam invigilators, providing invigilation to both internal and external examinations on a part time basis throughout the academic year.
Previous experience is not required as full mandatory training will be provided. The position requires someone who has the availability during term time and can commit to a combination of both morning and afternoon sessions during peak exam periods May-June, Nov-Dec, Jan-Feb.
Successful candidates will:
Have an interest in helping us support students achieve their best
Provide assistance with the setting-up of exam rooms
Distribute question papers, answer booklets and associated materials at the beginning of the exams
Provide students with additional paper/equipment as necessary in accordance with exam board regulations
Collect papers at the end of exams as per the instructions of the Lead Invigilator
Scribe/read for students who have Access Arrangements in place
Help create a calm environment
Monitor behaviour
Ensure students have the right materials and information they need
