The University of Reading is seeking to appoint an Examinations Administrator (Systems), based within the Examinations and Graduation Office. The role is to be initially recruited on a fixed-term and part time basis (0.6 FTE 22 hrs/week), with the opportunity for the role to become full time and permanent from April 2026 onwards.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated person who will contribute to the effective operation of the Examinations and Graduation Team's activities, through the provision of high quality administrative support of exam and assessment-related data. You will support the management of exam and results processing activities, with a particular focus on updating and maintaining the University's student records system. You will provide support throughout the year to a wide range of colleagues on the various assessment protocols, policies and procedures of the University.
You will have:
Experience in an administrative role in a busy office environment
The ability to work with large and complex databases including the maintenance of data
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work effectively on your own initiative and to tight deadlines.
Excellent and sensitive communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
